San Fernando Rey Parish Church is one of the oldest standing heritage structures in Cebu. It was built in honor of San Fernando Rey, the King of Spain centuries ago during the Spanish regime.
The church was built with great anticipation that the parish would eventually grow. As a result, it was built with great size and can accommodate parishioners for centuries to come. It is even larger than the church of Mandaue, the second largest city of Cebu.
