Welcome to the Island of Cebu, known for its narrow coastlines, limestone plateaus, and coastal plains, all characteristics of a typical tropical island. Cebu also has predominant rolling hills and rugged mountain ranges traversing the northern and southern lengths of the island.

Cebu's highest mountains can reach over 1,000 meters. And the lowest flat tracts of land can be found in towns of Bogo, San Remigio, Medellin, and Daanbantayan at the northern tip of the province.




Catmon

Catmon is a 5th class municipality in the province of Cebu and one of the towns that comprises the 5th Congressional district of the province. It is located in the northeastern coast of Cebu with a distance of 57 kilometers from Cebu City.

The municipality is bounded by the vast expanse of the Camotes Sea on the east, by the municipality of Tuburan on the west, by the municipality of Sogod on the north and on the south by the municipality of Carmen.




Minglanilla

Minglanilla is a 1st class municipality of Cebu Province and one of the towns that make up the 1st Congressional district of the province. It is also part of the metropolitan area known as Metro Cebu. It is located in the southern part of the island, approximately 15 kilometers away from Cebu City.

The municipality is bordered by the Municipality of Naga on the southwest, by Toledo City on the northwest, by Talisay City on the northeast and on the southeast by the Bohol Strait.




Madridejos

Madridejos is a 4th class municipality of the province of Cebu and one of the 9 towns that composes the fourth congressional district of the province. It is located in the western portion of the northernmost tip of Cebu.

It is one of the three municipalities that make up the beautiful island of Bantayan. The town is bounded by the municipality of Bantayan in the south and the north, east and west is bordered by the Visayan Sea.




Pinamungahan

Pinamungahan (also spelled as Pinamungajan) is a 3rd class municipality of the province of Cebu, Philippines and one of the towns that compose the third Congressional district of the province. It is located in the southwestern coast of the island, about 65 kilometers away from the main city and 74 kilometers via Carcar.

The town is bordered by the city of Toledo in the north, by the town of Aloguinsan in the south, the municipalities of Naga and San Fernando in the east and by the Tañon Strait in the west.




Gibitngil Island

Tudela

Tudela is a 5th class municipality in the province of Cebu and one of the towns that composes the 5th congressional district of the province. It is one of the four municipalities of the Camotes Group of Islands in the northeastern part of the province.

The town is located in the island of Poro, one of the three islands of the Camotes Group of Islands and has a distance of 8 kilometers away from the town of Poro. While the municipality of Poro bordered the east, the municipality of Pilar is found at the north and the Camotes Sea on both south and west sides.




Alegria Attractions

Alegria is a 4th class municipality in the province of Bohol and one of the 15 towns that compose the 2nd Congressional district of the province. It is located in southwestern coast, approximately 117 kilometers away from the main city, Cebu City.

The town is bounded by the Municipality of Badian in the north, on the east are the municipalities of Dalaguete, Alcoy and Boljoon and by the Municipality of Malabuyoc on the south. It faces the Tañon Strait on the west.




Aloguinsan

Aloguinsan is a 4th class municipality in Cebu Province and one of the six towns and a city that comprise the 3rd Congressional district of the province. It is located in the southwestern part of the island, approximately 73.2 kilometers away from Cebu City.

The town is bordered by the vast Tañon strait on the west, by the Municipality of Pinamungahan in the north, by the Municipality of Barili in the south and in the east by Municipality of San Fernando and the City of Carcar.




Aloguinsan Attractions

Medellin

Medellin is a 3rd class municipality in the province of Cebu and one of the towns that composed the 4th Congressional district. It is located in the northernmost portion of the island, approximately 116 kilometers away from Cebu City.

The town is second to the northernmost town of the island. On its north is the municipality of Daanbantayan, on the south are the municipality of San Remegio and the City of Bogo. The Camotes Sea can be found on the east while the Tañon strait on the west.




Badian

Badian is a 4th class municipality in Cebu province and one of the 15 towns that comprises the 2nd congressional district of the province. It is located in the southwestern coast of the island, approximately 97.8 kilometers away from Cebu City.

The town is bounded by the municipality of Moalboal on its north, by the municipality of Alegria in the south and on the east by municipalities of Argao and Dalaguete. Tañon Strait can be viewed on its west.




Dumanjug

Dumanjug is a 4th class municipality of Cebu Province and one of the 15 towns that comprises the 2nd congressional district of the province. It is located on the southwestern coast of the island, approximately 74 kilometers away from the main city, Cebu City.

The town is centered by the municipality of Barili on the north, by the municipality of Sibonga on the east side and the municipality of Ronda on the south. On its west is the clear view of the Tañon Strait.




Sibonga

Sibonga is a 3rd class municipality of the province of Cebu, Philippines and one of the 6 towns under the first Congressional district of the province. It is located in the southeastern portion of the island, approximately 50.7 kilometers away from Cebu City.

The town is bordered by the city of Carcar in its north, the municipalities of Dumanjug and Ronda on the west and the Municipality of Argao on the south. On its east side is the magnificent view of the Bohol Strait.




Samboan Attractions

Samboan

Samboan is a 5th class municipality in the province of Cebu, Philippines and one of the 15 towns that constitute the second congressional district. It is situated at the southwestern coast of the island, approximately 140 kilometers away from Cebu City.

The town lies near the tip of the island, bounded by the Municipality of Ginatilan on the north, by the Municipality of Santander on the south and by Municipality of Oslob on the east. On the west side is the clear view of the Tañon Strait.




Tabuelan

Tabuelan is a 5th class municipality in the province of Cebu, Philippines and one of the 9 towns that composes the 4th congressional district. It is located in the northwestern part of the island, approximately 86 kilometers from Cebu City via Lugo in Sugo.

It is bordered by the Municipality of San Remegio in the north, by the Municipalities of Borbon and Sogod in the east and on the west by the municipality of Tuburan while the Tañon Strait is at its west side.

Consolacion

Consolacion or (Lacion for short) is a 2nd class municipality in the province of Cebu, Philippines and one of the towns consisting the 6th congressional district. Rested at the near proximities to the cities, it is included in the list of towns that is part of the metropolitan area, colloquially known as Metro Cebu.




Cordova

Cordova is a 4th class municipality in the Province of Cebu and one of the towns that comprises the 6th congressional district of the province. It is situated within the metropolitan area known as ”Metro Cebu”, approximately 22 kilometers away from the mainland Cebu City via Mactan Bridge.

It is a located in the southern part of Cebu, a coastal town and one of the two Local Government Units that constitutes the entire island of Mactan. It is bordered by Lapu-Lapu City in the north, separated by a waterway, Camotes Sea in the east and the Bohol Strait in the south.




Alcantara

Alcantara is a 5th class municipality in the province of Cebu and part of the 2nd congressional district along other 14 municipalities. It is located in the southeastern portion of the island, approximately 85.3 kilometers away from the principal city.

The town is bounded by the Municipality of Ronda in the north, the Municipality of Moalboal in the south and the Municipality of Argao in the East. The Tañon Strait bordered the west coast.




Compostela

Compostela is a 4th class municipality in the province of Cebu, Philippines and one of the 11 towns that comprises the 5th congressional district of the province. It is located in the northeastern coast and part of the metropolitan area colloquially known as Metro Cebu.

The town is situated 25 kilometers away from Cebu City. It is bounded by the Danao City on the north, municipality of Liloan by the south and the municipality of Balamban and Cebu City on the west. On its east is the extravagant view of the Camotes Sea.




Malabuyoc

Malabuyoc is a 5th class municipality of Cebu Province and one of the 15 towns under the 2nd congressional district of the province. It is located in the southwest portion of the island, about 126 kilometers away from the main city.

The town is bounded by the municipality of Alegria on the north, the municipality of Ginatilan on the south and the municipality of the Boljoon on the east. It faces the turbulent waters of the Tañon Strait on the west.




Ginatilan

Ginatilan is a 5th class municipality of the province of Cebu and one of the 15 municipalities in the 2nd congressional district of the province. It is situated in the southwestern part, about 135 kilometers from the provincial capital, Cebu City.

The town is facing the Tañon Strait at the west and bordered by the Municipality of Malabuyoc in the north, Municipality of Samboan in the south and the Municipality of Oslob in the east.




Balamban

Balamban is a 1st class municipality in the province of Cebu, Philippines. Situated in the northwestern coast of Cebu, it is about 64 kilometers from the main city. It is part of the third district alongside the town of Asturias and Toledo City.

The town is bordered by the municipality of Asturias in the north, and by Cebu and Mandaue Cities by its east. The City of Toledo is at its south and faces the Tañon Strait in the west.




Asturias

Asturias is a first class municipality in the province of Cebu. It is part of the 3rd district in the northwestern part of Cebu. It is situated approximately 81 kilometers from Cebu City via Naga, Uling.

The town is bounded by the municipalities of Tuburan in the north and Municipality of Balamban in the south. Danao City is at its east side while it faces the Tañon Strait in the west.




Alcoy Attractions

Aside from its largest dolomite mining which contributed a lot to the economy of the town, Alcoy has struggled to protect nature and its touristic attractions from forces that are of constant threat for its preservation.

Due to the profusion of Siloy or Black Shama in the area and its habitat, the Mag-abo Forest, the government is trying to promote the town as an “Eco-Tourism Destination”. There are still many wonders that are waiting to be discovered only here in Alcoy.




Tingko Beach
